[DVD] We Are Family (2006)

Mediacorp Raintree Pictures is one of the unique film production houses in Singapore, and because of its budgetary muscle, besides making its own films, they have the luxury of teaming up with production houses in the region too in various collaborative effort.

In what is essentially a Hong Kong production starring Alan Tam and Hacken Lee, this movie is co-produced by Raintree, and local actors such as the likes of Jeff Wang, Ng Hui, Abigail Chay, Patricia Mok, Bernard Tan, and a whole host of others in various supporting or cameo roles, make an appearance. Gurmit Singh as Phua Chu Kang has a role in it too, unleashing his barrage of trademarked one liners in his only speech in the movie.
