4th Singapore Short Film Festival - Day One

Day One saw a packed auditorium at The Substation savouring short films like Eva Tang's Londres-London, Jelmar Hufen's For a Few Marbles More (in Dutch), Iranian film Cyanosis, and a quirky short with an eye candy cast about being played out with My Keys. But I guess the one I truly enjoyed (erm, well, in a warped way) is the uber-violent Kichiro by Kelvin Sng, which made its Singapore premiere. If you have a chance to catch it in any other screenings, please do! It's bloody, it's campy, you probably won't believe it's a Singapore short film!

Join me for Day Two where I'll be speaking about "Seeing Short", and my personal highlights from tomorrow's selection will include Stick Boy, Popped Collar and Tango Trois. See you there!
